These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the S.L.D. Girls College website, as well as the academic, admission, fee, and conduct rules applicable to students, parents, guardians, and visitors.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using the website sldcollege.in (the "Site"), or by submitting any form on it, or by enrolling as a student of S.L.D. Girls College ("the College"), you ("User", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") and by our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Site or the College's online services.

Note for minors: If you are below 18 years of age, you confirm that a parent or lawful guardian has reviewed and consented to these Terms on your behalf.

Use of the Website

Rules governing your access to and conduct on this Site.

2. Permitted Use

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes connected with:

  • Seeking information about the College, its courses, faculty, and facilities.
  • Submitting an admission enquiry or application.
  • Applying for scholarships, jobs, or other opportunities advertised on the Site.
  • Filing a grievance or an RTI request through the appropriate form.
  • Contacting the College for legitimate reasons.

Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, its servers, or databases.
  • Introduce viruses, malware, or any other harmful code.
  • Use automated scrapers, bots, or harvesters to extract data.
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Post or transmit content that is defamatory, obscene, abusive, or unlawful.
  • Interfere with the normal operation of the Site or its security features.

Consequences: Violations may result in suspension of access, cancellation of admission or employment, and / or legal action under applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000.

The terms that govern admission to the College.

3. Admission Rules

  1. Eligibility. Admission to any course is subject to the eligibility criteria prescribed by the College and the affiliating university.
  2. Accuracy of information. All information and documents submitted by an applicant must be true, complete, and authentic. Submission of forged or misleading documents will lead to cancellation of admission and may attract legal action.
  3. Merit and reservation. Admissions are made on merit and in accordance with the reservation policy of the Government of Uttar Pradesh and the affiliating university.
  4. Right to refuse. The College reserves the right to refuse admission without assigning a reason, subject to applicable law.
  5. Fees and documents. Admission is confirmed only after payment of the prescribed fees and submission of all required original documents.
  6. Course changes. Requests to change course or subject combination are subject to seat availability and the approval of the Principal.

Required Documents (Indicative)

  • Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets and certificates
  • Transfer Certificate (TC) and Character Certificate from the last institution
  • Migration Certificate (where applicable)
  • Caste / Income / Domicile certificates (for scholarship and reservation claims)
  • Aadhaar card and recent passport-size photographs

Fee Terms

Rules relating to payment, refund, and late fees.

4. Fees & Refund

  • Fees are payable as per the fee structure approved by the competent authority and published on the Site.
  • Fees must be paid by the notified due date. Late payment may attract a late fee or cancellation of admission.
  • Fees once paid are non-refundable, except where the Government or University refund policy applies.
  • Refund requests, where admissible, must be made in writing to the Principal within the prescribed window.
  • In case of cancellation of admission by the College for reasons attributable to the student (such as non-attendance, indiscipline, or submission of false documents), no refund will be made.
  • In case the College cancels admission for reasons attributable to the College, fees will be refunded in full.

Online payments: The College is not responsible for delays or failures caused by banks, payment gateways, or network issues. Do not share OTPs, passwords, or banking credentials with anyone.

Standards expected of every student of the College.

5. Discipline & Conduct

Every student is expected to:

  • Attend classes regularly. Minimum attendance, as prescribed by the University, is required to appear in examinations.
  • Maintain discipline and behave respectfully with teachers, staff, and fellow students.
  • Refrain from ragging, harassment, bullying, or any form of discrimination.
  • Refrain from use of alcohol, tobacco, drugs, or any intoxicant on campus.
  • Refrain from possession or use of weapons on campus.
  • Take care of College property. Any damage caused will be recoverable from the student.
  • Refrain from political activity or unauthorised gatherings on campus.
  • Follow all instructions issued by the Principal and staff from time to time.

Anti-Ragging

Ragging is strictly prohibited and is a punishable offence under the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009. Complaints may be made to the Anti-Ragging Committee or through the national anti-ragging helpline.

Zero tolerance: Any act of ragging, sexual harassment, or violence will be dealt with severely, including expulsion and reporting to the police.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on this Site — including text, images, photographs, graphics, logos, the College emblem, page design, layout, videos, downloadable documents, and the underlying code — is the property of S.L.D. Girls College or its licensors, and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and other applicable laws.

  • You may view, download, and print pages for personal, non-commercial use only.
  • You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, or use the content for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
  • The College name, logo, and emblem are protected marks and may not be used without authorisation.

Information may be changed, updated, or withdrawn without notice. In case of any discrepancy, the decision of the Principal / competent authority shall be final.

Limitation of Liability

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, the Site, or the College shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hathras / Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh.

We reserve the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site or continued enrolment after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
